Areas of Focus

Therapy for adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, and the deeper patterns that keep them feeling stuck.

You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many of the adults I work with are thoughtful, capable, and high functioning - but inside, they feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or disconnected from themselves.

Therapy can be a space to slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and move toward a more grounded and meaningful life.

Anxiety

Anxiety can feel like your mind is always racing - anticipating problems, replaying conversations, or bracing for what might go wrong. Even when life looks stable from the outside, your nervous system may feel constantly on edge.

In therapy, we’ll work to understand the roots of your anxiety and develop practical tools to help you feel more steady, present, and in control of your responses.

Burnout and Emotional Exhaustion

Burnout often builds slowly. You may be meeting everyone else’s expectations while quietly feeling depleted, numb, or overwhelmed. Things that used to feel manageable may now feel like too much.

Therapy can help you reconnect with your own needs, set healthier boundaries, and restore a sense of balance and energy in your life.

Life Transitions

Major life changes - whether chosen or unexpected - can stir up uncertainty, grief, or self-doubt. Transitions such as career shifts, relationship changes, becoming a parent, or entering a new stage of life can leave you feeling ungrounded.

Therapy offers a steady space to process these changes, reconnect with your values, and move forward with more clarity and confidence.

Postpartum and Parenting Stress

The transition into parenthood can bring unexpected emotional challenges. You may feel overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or unsure of yourself in ways you didn’t anticipate.

Therapy can provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space to talk openly about these experiences and find steadier footing during this important stage of life.

Trauma and Stressful Life Experiences

Past experiences can continue to shape how you feel, think, and relate to others - even years later. You may notice patterns of anxiety, emotional shutdown, people-pleasing, or difficulty trusting yourself or others.

Using trauma-informed and somatic approaches, therapy can help you gently process these experiences, regulate your nervous system, and build a deeper sense of safety within yourself.

Feeling Stuck or Disconnected

Sometimes there isn’t one clear problem - just a sense that something isn’t right. You may feel disconnected from yourself, repeating old patterns, or unsure what direction to take next.

Therapy can help you slow down, tune into your inner experience, and create meaningful, lasting change from the inside out.

A Mind-Body Approach

My work is grounded in a blend of evidence-based, relational, and somatic approaches. I draw from therapies such as DBT, CBT, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation while also incorporating insight-oriented and strengths-based work.

Together, we’ll focus not just on changing thoughts, but on helping your whole system feel safer, steadier, and more connected.
